In anticipation of the Eta Lambda Chapter’s 40th Anniversary Celebration to be held the weekend of February 24 -26, 2012 in Blacksburg, VA, we have been allowed to reserve a block of 50 rooms for our group at the Inn at Virginia Tech, located on the VT campus.
The Inn is willing to give us more rooms once we sell out the original block of 50 rooms. However, this offer of additional rooms is contingent upon how many rooms the Inn at VT still has available after we sell out our first 50 rooms.
Will you please help us acquire these additional rooms for our group? Even if you are not 100% sure you will be attending the 40th Anniversary Celebration please make it a top priority to call the Inn at VT (877.200.3360 / 540.231.8000) and secure a room at the rate of $139 per night using our group name, Sigma Chi 40th Anniversary.
Once you make a reservation you will have 24 hours prior to the arrival date to cancel your reservation so there is no risk should you decide not to attend. In addition, by securing your reservation now you can make your room available to a Pledge Brother or we will help you transfer your room to another Brother should you decide not to attend.
Should you not wish to stay at the Inn at VT, additional rooms are also available at the Hilton Garden Inn (540.552.5005) located just across Rt. 460 from the Eta Lambda Sigma Chi house on Oak Lane. The rate is $98 per night when you mention our group, Sigma Chi 40th Anniversary Block.
Believe it or not, there are several other events taking place in Blacksburg on the same weekend as our event including the ACC Indoor Track & Field Championships.
So please do yourself or another Brother a favor and make your reservation now at the Inn at VT for Eta Lambda’s 40th Anniversary Celebration.
